Upcoming events

Join in the book group discussion!

A new book club will be meeting at the Aurora Public Library!  This group will be structured a bit differently than many groups.  Rather than reading and discussing the same book, each person who comes is asked to talk about (and, if possible, bring) a book that you are currently reading or have recently read.  What is the book about?  Why did you like or dislike the book?  Where and when is it set?  What did you find interesting?  New members are always welcome! The next meeting will be:

November 21 , 6:00 pm

Presented by Christina Cotruvo

Thurs., Dec. 19.  1:00 pm

At Carefree Living, Aurora

(open to the public)

Music can lighten the holiday blues, bring warm feelings to a cold winter day, and calm to a stressful time. Christina Cotruvo will play and discuss the American-Celtic harp, the hi-tech Harp Ukulele and a therapy harp, and she will share the history of the songs she performs from a variety of genres and how they work toward wellness.

This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
