Applicants sought for Assistant Librarian position


With regret, I announce that the our Assistant Librarian, Kathy Schultz  has announced her resignation.  She intends to work as much as she can until the position is filled. 

The Aurora Public Library is now seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to fill this 30 hours/week position.  The position include some evenings, no weekends.  Strong communication and computer skills are required.  Preference will be given to college graduates with library experience.

Wages are $15.31/hour.  Benefits include accrued sick leave, accrued vacation after one full year worked, and some paid holiday hours.

Now available at the Aurora Public Library, through the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund:

10 free tickets to the Northern Lights Music Festival's "Festive 4th" concert (Wed., July 4, 4:00 pm at Mesabi East High School)

12 free tickets to the Northern Lights Music Festival's Chamber Music concert (either Fridya, July 6, 7:00 pm at the Chisholm High School Auditorium, Chisholm OR to the Sunday, July 8, 4:00 pm concert at Mesabi East High School, Aurora.
These tickets, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, are funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
